About Our Product
The Swim Stage Trainer is an innovative device used to teach swimming. This patented device was invented and developed by Todd Dalton Trombetta. The tool includes a proven strategy for efficiently achieving optimal outcomes. Those who adhere to the straightforward instructions can easily and effectively instruct swimming.
The device was originally developed for toddlers and young children, but will be expanded and available for older children and even adults. One can teach their child to swim without being a swimmer themselves. The approach ensures that the student's head does not sink below the water until specified, a distinction from other swim instruction techniques. This method provides a gradual approach for students to learn swimming naturally, reducing fear in many instances. The majority of floatation devices in the market prioritize buoyancy over teaching swimming techniques. Indeed, in many instances they impede the process of learning how to swim.
The swim stage trainer is not a floatation device, nor does it prevent drowning, and should only be used to teach swimming under adult supervision. Under no circumstances should a child be left alone. There is only one way to prevent childhood drowning, and that is to teach your child how to swim as soon as possible. The swim stage trainer will allow you to do that in the most efficient, effective and economical way currently available.
A Message From the Inventor and CEO:
Dear Parents, I never intended to actually invent this product. After watching my 3 year old god daughter terrified by the way she was being taught swimming at a well established swim academy, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I spent 37 years teaching young children how to play tennis, so I knew a little bit about how to get great results in sport that has one of the highest degree of difficulty while executing very difficult technical skills.
Over the years, I developed my own method to teach numerous very successful junior, college and professional tennis players. I harnessed that experience and understanding into developing the SST. I incorporated some of the same methodology, that I practiced while teaching tennis into the swim stage trainer. The result was that my 4 year old god daughter learned to float, tread water and then swim across the 25ft width of the pool on the 5 th day of training.
I realized first and foremost that I had successfully developed a product that could help teach children how to swim in the most efficient, effective and economical way available, and in turn help lessen the risk of childhood drowning.
The Swim Stage Trainer ( SST ) vs. Professional Swim Instruction:
The SST is created for students to independently learn how to swim, with minimal guidance from a parent, sibling, relative, or friend. The SST offers a budget-friendly alternative to formal swim lessons, potentially saving up to $100 per hour. The number of lessons needed for a child to learn to swim varies. It's challenging to determine since every child is different, but generally, the cost of swim lessons by far exceeds that of a single SST purchase.
